Bob on American Idol??

Entertainment Weekly says Dylan's people have called the producers of American Idol asking if he could be a guest judge. Both Paul McCartney and Dylan could show up as guest judges on next season's American Idol. The show's executive producer confirmed that McCartney is interested and that Dylan's reps have actually contacted the show about having Dylan appear.
